The airline that carries Chernobyl children into Shannon Airport on visits to Ireland is suspending its winter service.
Belarus's Belvaia Airlines says the decision was made due to the poor performance of the route and rising operating costs.
The company says it will also be making a final call on its summer service from Minsk in January.
The move is a further blow to Shannon following the Aer Lingus decision to end its services to Heathrow from the Co Clare airport.
