Rules of using gas price formula for Belarus underway
RBC, 30.08.2007, MInsk 18:15:43.Russia's gas price for Belarus for 2008 will be determined in late 2007, while regulations concerning the use of the price formula are to be completed by October 1, 2007. According to Deputy General Director of Beltransgaz Vinery Volchuga, the concerns over the price formula established earlier have fueled efforts by both countries to work out new regulations. Volchuga also noted that Russia could increase gas supplies to Belarus in 2008 compared with 2007, hoping that Gazprom will confirm the volume of supplies envisaged in the contract up to 2011.
