Belarus, Azerbaijan to consider training of Azerbaijani medical students in Belarus
Belarus and Azerbaijan will discuss the possibility to train Azerbaijani students in Belarusian medical universities. The relevant agreement was signed during a visit of Belarusian Health Minister Vasily Zharko to Baku, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The Belarusian Health Minister met with Rector of Azerbaijan Medical University, Prof. Ahliman Amiraslanov and discussed the cooperation in the area of personnel training.
Vasily Zharko got familiar with the work of the hospital at Azerbaijan Medical University and studied the organization of the work of other Azerbaijan medical institutions.
In the course of the visit, the Belarusian Health Minister held talks with the senior officials of the Azerbaijani Health Ministry.
"The visit gave an opportunity to comprehensively discuss the cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan, to outline some practical measures to enhance the bilateral cooperation and to consider particular projects of the Belarusian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the area of health care and medical science," the Belarusian diplomatic mission underlined.
