Nuclear information and resource centre to be set up in Belarus

A public information centre providing information on the nuclear power plant construction will open in Belarus in the nearest future, Aide to the President of Belarus Vsevolod Yanchevsky told journalists on August 28, reported belta.

Moreover, it will soon be possible to get the relevant information from a website dedicated to the future nuclear power plant. The visitors of the website will also be able to get answers to their questions regarding the construction of the plant.

"We are putting together all the questions, doubts and uncertainties that worry Belarusians. Clear, comprehensive and understandable answers will be given to each question," Vsevolod Yanchevsky underlined. The Aide to the President referred to the experience of other countries where special services have been set up to provide the citizens with the information related to the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
