Belarus harvested over 3 mln tonnes of grains

Agricultural economies of Belarus exceeded the limit of grain production of 3 mln tonnes, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the country.

As of August 6, agricultural organizations of the country harvested 3.26 mln tonnes of grains. Agrarian economies of Minsk oblast became the leaders of grain production and harvested 785 thsd tonnes.

Agrarians harvested grains and leguminous plants (without maize) throughout 832 thsd ha, which totaled 35% of harvesting areas. Brest oblast became the leader of the harvesting campaign rate sand harvested the half of own sowings. Agricultural economies of Grodno oblast showed the highest grain yield, which reached the level of 47.5 c/ha. The average yield in the country totaled 39.3 c/ha, up 2.4 c/ha compared to the same date of the previous year.
