Belarus threshed over 4.3 mln tonnes of grains
As of August 9, Belarus threshed 4.37 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Thus, the index of grain production in the country exceeded the level of 4 mln tonnes. The daily grain production volumes totaled over 350 thsd tonnes. The average yield in the country totaled 39.27 c/ha.
According to operative data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, agrarians harvested grains and leguminous plants (without maize) throughout 1118.36 thsd ha, or 48.59% from planned harvesting areas.
To date, Minsk oblast shows the highest index of harvesting volumes - 1092.77 thsd tonnes.
