Energy in Baltics and Belarus 2009

The Energy in Baltics and Belarus 2009 will take place on 30th October 2009 at Hotel Best Western, Vilnius, Lithuania.
Following the European Council and their approval of an energy action plan which prescribed concrete energy and climate policy objectives for all EU member states, the Baltic region felt the strain to achieve the strict 20/20/20 targets.
Some of these objectives included an increase in renewable energy use, increase of biofuel use, reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and achievement of 20% conservation of energy.
