Lukashenko's business contacts in Yerevan

The Belarusian media reported the details of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's visit to Armenia. Lukashenko had arrived in Armenia to participate in the CSTO informal summit on August 20-22.

On August 21, Lukashenko held only business contacts in Yerevan. He visited the Belarusian-Armenian trade house, which he had ordered to establish in 2009. According to National State Television of Belarus, Lukashenko looked through the assortment, accompanied by the owner of "Multi Group" Holding Gagik Tsarukyan. The sides expressed confidence the trade house is a bilateral prospective project. The products of hundreds of Belarusian enterprises, from candies to furniture were presented. The President stressed that the turnover of the two countries must significantly increase due to implementation of joint projects.

Later Alexander Lukashenko visited Yerevan Wine-Vodka Factory. During the communication the President suggested to develop Armenian cognac business in Belarus, arranging a production of vintage wines in Belarus.

The Armenian-Belarusian cooperation may also develop in the sphere of jewelry in the near future. Lukashenko visited a diamond processing factory and promised to back its cooperation with Belarusian industrial giant Crystal.
