Belarusian state security: No destabilization, revolution in country
MINSK. September 30. KAZINFORM. - The Belarusian State Security Committee's deputy chairman said Thursday that the committee would prevent any attempt at destabilization or a revolution in the country.
"Any color revolution in Belarus is obviously impossible," Viktor Vegera said, referring to the popular uprising against former regimes in Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan that resulted in a change of power in the countries, Kazinform writes quoting RIA Novosti.
"The KGB [the committee] is controlling the situation in the republic," he said. "We will crush any destabilization attempts.
