On September 19, the President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenka signed an order No. 578 "On conducting negotiations for the project of Agreement between Belarus and Azerbaijan regarding social-economical co-operation until 2015".
The project is directed towards the future development of the bilateral relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan, Belta reports with reference to the press service of the state head.
The key directions of the contacts are specified by the program of long-term social-economical co-operation between the two countries until 2015, which is the integral part of the project, Trend reports. According to the program, bilateral interaction will be realized in economical, commercial, humanitarian and social spheres. Co-ordinating the implementation of works, as well as the realization of the agreement project will be carried out by the Belarusian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission for Commercial and Economical Co-operation.
Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Kobyakov was empowered to hold the negotiations regarding the project of agreement.
