Minsk, Sep 12 (Prensa Latina) Belarus Foreign Relations Minister Serguei Martinov will attend the 14th Non Aligned Countries Summit (NAM), now beginning its sessions with the meeting of experts in Havana, announced the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

At his departure to Cuba Martinov declared that Belarus would present its position in respect to the present role of NAM to counteract the existing unilateralism.

In that sense, the movement should address its revitalization and its growing development as one of the fundamental actors on the international stage, the official emphasized.

Similarly, he highlighted the significance of being a NAM member and recalled that NAM has boosted economic support for developing countries and has closed ranks to the attempts to create new types of weapons of mass destruction.
