Azerbaijan-Belarus Friendship and Cooperation Society Set Up

The Azerbaijan-Belarus Friendship and Cooperation Society has been established at the constituent conference held here today

Chairman of the Milli Majlis standing commission on economic policy Ziyad Samadzadeh said reciprocal visits of the heads of states contribute to the Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation. He noted foundation of friendly relations between the two countries was laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev

Also speaking at the meeting were chairman of the Supreme Attestation Commission Arif Mehdiyev, Belarus ambassador Nikolay Pastkevich, chairperson of the Kitab society Zarifa Salahova.

Ambassador handed over Belarus Academy of Sciences` honorary diploma to academician Ziyad Samadzadeh
