Gambling shifts from Russia to Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Baltic states

By Daniyar KARIMOV

Gambling business shifts from Russia to Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Baltic states, RIA Novosti reported with a reference to the deputy executive director of the Russian gambling business association Samiol Binder.

The business moves away from Russia due to the recent ban on gambling activity imposed across the country, except for specially designed areas - in Primorye, the Altai krai, Kaliningrad oblast and border of the Krasnodar krai and Rostov oblast.

Arrangements for the complete transfer of all casinos to those areas go extremely slow. As owners of some major gambling centers open branches in post-soviet states and attract their best workers there.
