Belarus sowed winter grains throughout 1.46 mln ha
According to data of the press-cutting service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, to date agrarians of the country sowed winter grains throughout the areas of 1.46 mln ha, or 100.6% from the planned areas.
Also, agricultural producers of the country harvested buckwheat throughout 21.5 thsd ha (86.8%), and produced 22.5 thsd tonnes of the grain with the average yield of 10.5 c/ha.
Agrarians harvested millet throughout 10.3 thsd ha (76.6%), and produced 19.9 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 19.2 c/ha.
As of the reporting date, agrarians harvested maize grain throughout the areas of 46.5 thsd ha (28.9%), and produced 276.1 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 59.4 c/ha.
