Union of Poles leader persecuted
Belarusian border guards have held the leader of the de-legalized Union of Poles in Belarus for several hours before allowing her to enter Poland. Andzelika Borys was submitted to a thorough check. She said the guards had first annulled a stamp in her passport allowing her to cross the border. The stamp was eventually restored. Borys has come to Poland for a meeting with representatives of the Polish Community.
