Belarus Wishes Fidel Prompt Recovery

Minsk, Oct 31 (Prensa Latina) The president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, sent a personal greeting to his Cuban counterpart, Fidel Castro, wishing a prompt recovery for the man he considers friend and teacher.

The Belarus president made his statements in a meeting with Cuban Parliament President Ricardo Alarcon, who is on a European tour.

After the meeting, Lukashenko called on both countries legislative bodies to act as catalysts in the strengthening of bilateral links.

The Belarus leader highlighted his government gives top priority to collaboration with Cuba, which has maintained a good level for decades.
