Azerbaijan and Belarus intend to extend its cultural co-operation. This statement was voiced by the Culture Minister of Azerbaijan, Abulfaz Garayev and the Belarus Culture Minister, Vladimir Matveychuk on 10 October at a meeting, Trend reports.
The Azerbaijani Minister of Culture & Tourism Abulfaz Garayev expressed its aim to co-operate more intensively with Belarus in all aspects of the culture, particularly with regards to cultural tourism, organization of joint competitions of vocalists, art exhibitions, etc. In addition, Garayev voiced his wish for Azerbaijani to send young performers to the musical competition "Slavic market". "We have maximum potential in many aspects and we are going to benefit from it," the Minister emphasized.
The Belarusian Minister of Culture supported the intention of his Azerbaijani colleague, expressing their readiness to co-operate seriously in this respect. Both parties also mentioned the importance of developing its co-operation in regard to cultural tourism, organizing tours to places of interest within the two countries and also establishing a hospital with a holiday atmosphere for patients undergoing treatment.
