Belarus Choir To Perform

On Sunday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Farmington the community will have the unique opportunity to hear the Belarus National Christian Choir in concert as a finale to their four-week, five-state tour of the United States. The wonderful group of talented musicians will present a varied program of sacred choral literature in both English and Russian along with indigenous Belarusian folk music. Admission is free and a love offering will be taken. An overview of the tour and a sample selection from their recent "Fresh Wind" CD can be found on the web at www.flfmissions.org. Copies of the CD can be purchased from the Oasis Bookstore in downtown Farmington, on the web, or at the concert. Musicians from First Baptist Church in Farmington will once again be traveling to Belarus next spring to join them in a week-long concert tour.
