Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus Take Part in Opening Ceremony of MTZ Tractor Gathering Department at Avtomash-radiator Plant

Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 12 October / TrendNews corr. R.Mashadihasanli / Kurmanbek Bakiyev and Alexander Lukashenko, Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, opened new department on assembly of the Belarusian MTZ tractors at Avtomash-radiator Plant in Bishkek. A total of 120 tractors will be gathered at the plant by the end of 2008 and 1,000 cars - in 2009, as well as all of them will be realized in Kyrgyzstan.

According to Lukashenko, if the project is successfully realized, Belarus will be prepared to open other industrial enterprises in Kyrgyzstan. "We ask the Kyrgyz leadership seriously to support the project through placement of state orders on producible technology. In future we are ready to develop establishment of a joint enterprise to produce cotton picker and energy saturated Belarusian tractors.
