Belgium's Corporate Resources keen to partake in Belarus' privatization

Belgian consulting company Corporate Resources International Inc. has been studying opportunities to take part in the privatization in Belarus, Director of the company Claude Potelle, an expert-consultant in such international organizations as the UN, EU, OSCE and others, said at a meeting in the Belarusian Science and Industry Association (BSIA), reported Belta.

The participants of the meeting focused on the issues related to the implementation of the Belarusian state privatization programmes with a possible participation of the Belgian company. The two sides considered attraction of foreign investments in Belarus with the assistance of Corporate Resources International Inc. and the Regional Investment Assistance Fund (BSIA-investfund).

The participants exchanged the opinions on the course of the privatization in Belarus, its outlook, possibilities to provide Belarus with technical and financial aid in the area of the international organizations including UNIDO.

After Claude Potelle's visit to Belarus, the Belarusian Science and Industry Association sent proposals-recommendations to Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov concerning the preparations for selling shares of the Belarusian open joint-stock companies and increasing financing attractiveness of the Belarusian investment projects.
