Belarus: Transcript of Media Comments by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Martynov after his Meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua Samuel Santos Lopez

Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, my friend Samuel is paying a visit to Belarus. Since this is the first visit of the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister to this country in the history of our bilateral relations, we have discussed all major components of our cooperation and outlined the ways to expand and deepen it.

In particular, we stated today that Belarus and Nicaragua have very similar positions on the main views and perspectives of global development. We cooperate intensively within international organizations, in the Non-Aligned Movement, support each other, and we will continue this line.
