Azerbaijan - First Deputy PRIME Minister Yagub Eyyubov visits Belarus

First Deputy Foreign Minister Yagub Eyyubov is visiting Minsk. Yagub Eyyubov met with First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko. They discussed preparations for President Ilham Aliyev's official visit to Minsk on November 12.

"We should do our best to deepen our bilateral relations and hope that Azerbaijani President's visit will be significant," Semashko said.

Vladimir Semashko said Belarus Ministry of Industry prepared a draft program on establishing assembly sites in Azerbaijan.

"We have worked out this program, want to discuss it with you and sign it by November 12," he said.

Yagub Eyyubov briefed about Azerbaijan's economic growth. He noted that despite the world crisis, the economic growth in the country was 106.1 percent within nine months of 2009.
