False depressurization alarm causes Aeroflot emergency landing in Minsk

MOSCOW, October 4 (Itar-Tass) -- The false depressurization alarm caused the emergency landing of an Aeroflot commercial jetliner in Minsk on Sunday, company representative Lev Koshlyakov told Itar-Tass.

The plane was en route from Prague to Moscow. It had to land in Minsk because of the depressurization alarm. It appeared after landing that the alarm was false.

The passengers were accommodated at a hotel because Minsk had no certified agent, who could permit further flight of the Airbus A-320. It is possible that a Belavia flight will bring them to Moscow, Koshlyakov said.
