Belarusian IT-company completes work on localization of e-banking in two Azerbaijani banks

Oct 29, 2010 (Trend News Agency - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Belarusian System technologies JLLC, which is the part of Innovative Association ST Group, has completed the work on localization of e-banking in two Azerbaijani banks, ST Group CEO Alexander Mukovozchik said on Friday. The software has so far been introduced at Unibank and Express Bank. The work is underway to implement the system in the Standard Bank and Bank Respublika.

The work on the localization of solutions for lending and loan workflow is expected to be completed in 2011, Mukovozchik said.

"Today we are working with six Azerbaijani banks, whose number will be brought to nine in 2011. Any product is first localized prior to proposing it to the local market, which takes about one and half years. The advantages of our solutions are their rapid deployment and easy management for automation of many aspects of banking activities. The range of solutions presented in the Azerbaijani market will be expanded in 2011. We are talking about solutions for workflow automation. At present, we are focused on promoting ready localized solutions due to lack of resources for localization of products," Mukovozchik said The ST.BANK.IT integrated system is moving into the country's banking software market. The system, which consists of subsystems, was constructed using a modular approach, which allows large banks to automate their business processes. These subsystems includes "E-Bank", "MultiChannel", "Retail Business", "Cash transactions", "Corporate business", "Treasury "," Loan workflow ", CRM, etc.

The Azerbaijani IT company Ultra is working with the Belarusian company System Technology to implement integration solutions in Azerbaijan's financial sector. Ultra has adapted System Technology's software to meet Azerbaijani laws, and also completely translated the software into the Azerbaijani language. The two IT companies signed a contract at an Azerbaijan-Belarus IT business forum Feb. 9.
