Belarus and Slovenia are working to create a business club

Belarus and Slovenia are working to create a business club, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovenia to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation in Belarus Ada Filip-Slivnik told media in Minsk on 6 October.

The business club is supposed to provide more information that Belarusian and Slovenian business circles need to step up their presence in the two countries. The business club will also encourage cooperation between business circles and will foster foreign direct investments.

According to the Ambassador, Belarus-Slovenia cooperation has grown considerably stronger over the last two years. She did not make any forecasts regarding Belarus-Slovenia trade volume at the end of the year because "it is difficult to plan market relations". Several Belarusian-Slovenian joint ventures operate in Belarus. Slovenia is a small country but just like Belarus it has a very well-developed processing industry, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, said the Ambassador. In her opinion, it would be more advantageous for two businesses to partner up to secure the best results.
