Ukraine's Premier Yekhanurov believes in Belarusian fair elections

Ukraine expects Belarus to hold democratic elections, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov declared in Washington Carnegie Fund.

"We would like Belarus to hold democratic elections and to become a serene neighbor with whom we mutually understand each other," mentioned Yekhanurov.

According to his words, Ukraine must keep a dialogue with Belarus. "We have normal trade ties," added him.

As a reminder, the next Belarusian presidential elections are to conduct not later than in the middle of July, 2006.
