Moldovans will have to show migrant cards when entering or leaving Belarus

Moldovan citizens will have to show migrant cards when entering or leaving Belarus, in line with an agreement between the Minsk and Moscow governments, which introduces the migrant card as a mandatory act for all foreigners who transit or visit Belarus.

If the foreign citizen entered Belarus before November 1, the migrant card will not be required for registration with interior authorities and in hotels, as well as when leaving the territory of the two states.

Russian migrant cards will be effective till January 1, in the period of transition, along with single migrant cards.

The migrant card will not be required from foreign presidents, premiers, members of parliamentary and governmental delegations. Also, members of crews of foreign military airplanes, members of crews of foreign civil aviation planes at airports, members of crews of stationing international trains and members of crews of motor vehicles on international carriage routes will not be required to show migrant cards.
