It is worth reminding; the visit was paid on November 15-18.

"A series of visits to Ukraine and Russia was paid; however, no agreements on prices and amounts of electrical energy have been achieved yet," the source at the power engineering ministry stressed. "Working visits will be continued in the near future." According to him, another visit to Ukraine will be paid on November 22-23. Delegation of Belarusian power engineering specialists will be headed by the Belenergo Concern General Director Sergey Belyi and the RUP ODU-elektroenergetiki Company General Director Alexei Shirma.

It is worth stressing; Belenergo plans to import 5.8bln kwh in 2007, including 2.5bln kwh from Ukraine. However, Russian power engineering companies state that it is impossible to export electrical energy to the republic because of threat of electrical power deficit in their own country. As for the Ukrainian colleagues, they propose to Belarus to buy electrical energy at prices of a developing market.
