TransContainer has opened a representation in Republic of Belarus.
November 30, 2006, TransContainer OJSC, a subsidiary of Russian Railways OJSC, opened a representation in the Republic of Belarus, the Company says.
The representation will carry out system marketing activity to attract cargoes to foreign trade railway routes on the territory of Belarus and Russia.
TransContainer and the Belarusian Railway signed documents covering their interaction in container transportation of goods of foreign traffic on the territory of Russia and the Republic of Belarus.
TransContainer was established on the base of a branch of Russian Railways - the center of container transportation of goods. Its authorized capital totals RUB 13.9 bn.
