Belarus president due in Tehran tonight

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will arrive in Tehran Sunday night on an official two-day visit to hold talks with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other senior officials.

Commerce Minister Massoud Mir-Kazemi is to welcome Lukashenko at Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport.

The Belarus president will be officially welcomed by President Ahmadinejad at the Presidential Office Monday morning.

During Lukashenko's stay in Tehran, the two sides are scheduled to discuss bilateral relations, issues of mutual interest as well as key regional and international developments.
