Belorussion Delegation At Turkish Parliament

ANKARA - A Belorussian parliamentary delegation headed by Anatoly Malofeev, the chairman of the Standing Committee for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Belorussian Parliament, met Thursday Yasar Yakis, Chairman of the EU Adjustment Commission of Turkish Parliament.

Yakis told the delegation that Turkey attaches great importance to relations with Belarus.

On the other hand, Malofeev said relations between the two countries should be improved.

"Trade volume between the two countries has tripled over the past three years but this is not satisfactory. 150 million USD of annual trade volume should be increased," he said.
