MINSK, November 16 (Itar-Tass) -- Belarus will increase oil transit tariffs by 2.5 percent starting from January 1, 2011, the republic's Economy Ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the ministry's press service, the new tariff will be 1.64 U.S. dollars per a ton of oil products for each 100 kilometres. The ministry passed a resolution to the effect in line with the Russian-Belarusian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the use of oil mains running via Belarus' territory of June 8, 2004.
