Russia and Belarus will come out as one at the upcoming OSCE summit in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Briefing the media after meeting in Moscow with his Belarusian colleague Sergei Martynov on Tuesday, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the two countries had coordinated their stands on confidence-building measures in Europe and the international monitoring of elections.
Russia and Belarus are also holding out for measures to streamline the OSCE's work.
