Cuba, Belarus Cooperation Meeting

Havana, Dec 7 (Prensa Latina) Cuba and Belarus are due to foster bilateral cooperation in several spheres during the 6th Session of the Intergovernmental Mixed Commission for Economic and Trade Collaboration starting on Wednesday in this capital.

The aim of the meeting is to tackle issues like cooperation in health, culture, transportation and scientific exchange, as well as boost agreements on avoiding double taxation and bilateral air traffic.

The visiting delegation will implement an exchange program with Cuban authorities, to analyze the evolution of economic and trade collaboration and development.

Cuba and Belarus have created extensive judicial-normative support in their bilateral economic and trade relations in order to facilitate links between both countries' companies and institutions.

The meeting is presided over by Belarussian Deputy Foreign Minister Victor Anatolevich Gaisonok and Ricardo Guerrero Blanco, Cuban Minister for Foreign Investment and Economic Collaboration.
