Gazprom promises no interruptions in supplies to Europe

MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - Official spokesman for Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) Sergei Kupriyanov sees no reasons for interruptions in Russian natural gas deliveries to European consumers.

"There are absolutely no reasons to speak of any interruptions in Russian gas deliveries to Europe," he said on Vesti-24 TV channel on Tuesday.

Asked whether media reports are true that additional gas stocks are being prepared to avoid possible interruptions in the absence of an understanding with Belarus, Kupriyanov said: "Such stores are formed regularly and grow with every passing year."
