Gazprom will not make new concessions to Belarus

MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) will not agree to make new concessions in its talks on the gas price for Belarus in 2007, the Russian gas giant's spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov told Mayak radio.

Gazprom agreed to the assessment of Beltransgaz' value of $5 billion, Kupriyanov said, adding that the Russian company views $3.3 billion as its real value. It means that Gazprom cannot make any more concessions to Belarus on the gas price, he said.
