Belarus not to bow to Russia "blackmail"-President

MINSK, Dec 29 (Reuters) - Belarus will not bow to Russian "blackmail" in a gas pricing dispute and wants no rise in gas prices next year, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday as talks started in Moscow aimed at settling the crisis.

"Belarus won't bow to (Russian gas monopoly) Gazprom's blackmail. If they keep putting pressure on us, we will go down into the bunkers, but we will not surrender," Lukashenko was quoted by Belarus' state news agency BelTA.

"What we want is to have here (in Belarus) and there (in Russia) equal gas prices", he added.
