Belarussian oil refineries up production 9.3% in Jan-Nov

MINSK. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Belarus increased oil refining 9.3% year-on-year to 19.58 million tonnes in January-November 2006, the Statistics and Analysis Ministry told Interfax.

Belarus processed 1.717 million tonnes of oil in November, down 6.2% from November 2005.

Gasoline production grew 6.2% to 3.2 million tonnes in the 11-month period, diesel production rose 4.1% to 6.08 million tonnes, fuel oil output increased 1.7% to 5.84 million tonnes and lubricant production grew 18.9% to 141,900 tonnes, the ministry said.

Two oil refineries work in Belarus - Naftan and Mozyr, each of which handle roughly the same amounts of refining. rd
