Putin to take part in Russia-Belarus Union State meeting

RBC, 13.12.2007, Moscow 10:58:00.Russian President Vladimir Putin will be visiting Minsk on December 13-14. During his stay, he and his Belarus counterpart Alexander Lukashenko will discuss the introduction of a common means of payment, as well as the preparation of the Union State's constitutional act. Following the talks, a number of agreements on credit policies, oil and gas supplies, borders, agriculture, and mechanical engineering are expected to be signed.

On Friday, the Russian leader is scheduled to take part in the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Union State, which has more than 10 items on its agenda, the most important of which will be passing the Union State budget for 2008.
