Belarus: Berezovsky Meat Cannery to Introduce New Sausage Casings in Production

Berezovsky Meat Cannery (Brest Region) has started production of sausage products in new types of casing: smoke permeable, fibrous and textile.

Smoke permeable artificial casings "Vektor" and "Slava-Luxe Prestige" are used in production of some cooked sausages. The shelf life of such sausages is increasing thanks to special qualities of this casing type.

At present, about 10 sausage types are manufactured in new casing.

In the current year the enterprise reconstructed the production department where sausage products are manufactured of by-products and blood. New cookers were installed there.

Berezovsky Meat Cannery manufactures sausage products, meat, by-products, and canned meat. The plant's range of sausage products totals to about 250 items.
