Venezuela-Belarus Extraordinary Commission to boost cooperation agreements

Venezuelan Vice President Ramon Carrizalez Rengifo opened on Wednesday the session of the Venezuela-Belarus Extraordinary Commission to follow up and furthering the existing cooperation agreements between the two countries. The implementation of these agreements is in progress, as a result of the strategic alliance.

The opening ceremony was held in Caracas on Wednesday.

Carrizalez said that the relations with Belarus have become very important for the two countries and have a strategic value in different areas of cooperation, the state-run news agency ABN reported.

The Venezuelan Vice President mentioned areas, such as: energy, food supply, industry, science and technology, housing construction and military technology, among others. He also mentioned that a Belarusian tractor and truck plant will be built in Venezuela.
