Belarusian president to visit Moscow

RBC, 10.12.2009, Moscow 10:26:27.President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will pay a working visit to Moscow at the invitation of Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev. The two presidents will take part in a regular meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Russia-Belarus Union State. However, they will also meet separately prior to the council's session. At the meeting, they are expected to focus on further consolidating the economic foundation of Russian-Belarusian integration, including considering the resolutions on the launch of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The Supreme State Council's session is scheduled to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the agreement on creating the Union State (December 8). In light of this, the parties plan to sign a declaration outlining the main results of the integration over the past years and future prospects.
