Belarus to found fat-an-oil holding in 2011
In 2011, Belarus plans to found the fat-an-oil holding, stated Ivan Danchenko, the Chairman of the Belarusian State Food Concern Belgospischeprom.
I.Danchenko announced the open tender for selection of the consulting company, which would prepare the required documentation, the holding model.
According to Belgospischeprom Concern Chairman supposition, Homel fat plant will be the head of the holding. He cited as an example the structure of the same holdings in the Russian Federtion. The fat plant is in the head, which controls 2-3 oil extraction plants, which control oilseeds sowing enterprises, clarified I.Danchenko.
According to the concern estimation, the holding foundation will allow to have absolutely different managing resources, and also to improve product selling efficiency, to decrease the products prime cost and to provide more profitable conditions for the credit resources attraction. Except of OJSC Homel fat plant, it is also planned to include OJSC Minsk margarine plant, OJSC Vitebsk oil extraction plant and OJSC Bobrujsk vegetable oils plant into the holding structure.
According to the announcement, specialists of the consulting company should prepare the financial-economic base for the fat-an-oil holding foundation, to develop its organization structure and managing structure, defining the authority and responsibility system.
The juridical persons are allowed to participate in the tender - the residents and non-residents of Belarus, having the experience of consulting support of foundation and activity of holdings in the CIS countries.
It is planned that the contract with the winner will be signed in December 2010 - January 2011.
