Belarusian law enforcers say the situation in the country ahead of Sunday's presidential elections is stable and fully controlled by the government.
The head of the country's KGB security agency Vadim Zaitsev said on Friday that the opposition was preparing an unauthorized rally and flatly refuted opposition claims that the authorities planned a series of provocations on election day.
