Belarus police have things under control in the run-up to the Sunday presidential elections, a source in the country's Interior Ministry reported on Saturday.
He said everything is quite now.
10 candidates are running for president, including the current long - lasting leader Alexander Lukashenko, who heads the country for 17 years.
Several opposition candidates plan a rally in Minsk's central square, but all mass gatherings are forbidden and the square has been turned into a skating ring.
