The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Armenia and Belarus will deepen the cooperation, which is evidenced by the visit of the Belarusian business delegation headed by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus, Vasili Romanov.

The Belarusian businessmen representing different spheres of industry will establish ties with Armenian counterparts.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia Martin Sargsyan attaches importance to the conduct of the Armenian-Belarusian business forum, noting that it will give an additional impetus to the development of cooperation between the two countries.

According to Martin Sargsyan, the volume of commodity turnover between Armenia and Belarus is disappointing. The trade between the two countries reached 30 mln 691 thousand USD in 2009, while it totaled 29 mln 317.5 thousand in the first 10 months of 2010.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia, Stepan Sukharenko, hailed the fact that the trade-economic cooperation between the two countries tends to reach the high level of the political dialogue. "The most important is the constant diversification of markets," he said.
