Russia and Belarus could reach agreement on a Common Economic Space by December 9th.
This was clinched during a telephone conversation on Friday night between Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and the head of the Belarusian government Sergey Sidorsky.
Scheduled for early December is a meeting of senior officials of the Customs Union and the EurAsEC, to be held in Moscow.
The Eurasian Economic Community comprises Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
