Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko have met in Moscow ahead of a gathering of Customs Union countries' heads.
The President's press secretary Natalia Timakova says that the two leaders discussed cooperation as part of the Union and pressing bilateral issues.
The presidents last met face-to-face in June at Dmitry Medvedev's residence in Gorky.
By that stage, the relationship was fraught with mutual discontent, in response to which Medvedev voiced hoped that the two countries will be able to take steps towards each other, emphasizing that a lot depended on Belarus's position.
