MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - Telephone talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko were held on Wednesday on the Belarusian side's initiative, the Kremlin press service told Interfax.
"The two presidents discussed issues pertaining to economic cooperation between Russia and Belarus, including the energy sector, covering the problem of Russian oil transit across Belarus," a Kremlin spokesman said.
