MINSK. Jan 19 (Interfax) - President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Rene van der Linden believes that the oil and gas dispute between Belarus and Russia won't affect the formation of a union state.
He told a Friday news conference in Minsk that the differences will have no affect on the construction of the union state.
A certain time is needed for passions to calm down and resume cooperation, he added.
That is in the interests of both states, he said.
